30 years ago, I was a toddler. I was still autistic, still had ADHD AND had a ton of food allergies, they just weren't diagnosed for another few decades. Anyone who says shit like this is actively choosing to bask in their own ignorance and probably enjoys the smell of their own farts.

I hate endometriosis. I hate that despite my clear damn symptoms, nobody will diagnose me without a laparoscopy. And nobody will perform a lap without me needing some other kind of surgery. My menstrual cycle shouldn't debilitate me, but it has since I was a damn teenager. That's a problem.

The amount of gaslighting ADHD people experience over emotions is quite appalling imho. Getting called "too emotional" or "too sensitive" when it's actually how your body processes emotional stimuli innately is damaging. You can suppress outward reaction, but your nervous system still reacts.

I feel that a lot of people only have a surface level understanding of how difficult being disabled is. The moment they can't see how a disability impacts someone then it might as 'well not exist' and 'doesn't need accommodations'. It's so incredibly frustrating

I haven't found a tinted sunscreen that works for uber pale skin, either. I use a Korean spray sunscreen instead, on top of a homebrew tinted moisturizer (literally just my foundation + moisturizer with a 30 SPF). Everything else is way too dark for my skin, too, hence the homebrewing.
