I love her. It’s sweet that she reacts with joy even when there’s pee. TJ Maxx often has a good selection of dog wipes, like lots of brands and big packs. (I use the target cat ones, I was fighting with Boo today about cat litter in her fluffy pants).

great neuro recommended, so just take them all. I didn’t find an abortive that worked until last year, so have relied on preventatives. I’ve got chronic migraines, and they’ve scared me and my parents over the years. Your brain is glitching. It’s scary. But there’s good treatments.

Start keeping notes on foods, activities, moods, even when they aren’t getting migraines. Knowing what triggers them can help with treatment. Like, mine are after a stressor, and antidepressants helped prevent them for a decade. I take magnesium and a B complex, I can’t remember which B vitamin my

Our springer Zooey took a long time to get housebroken, and had trouble when she got older, and a friend with a cockapoo had trouble too. I think female spaniels might just have bladder issues? They’re worth it. One of my cousins named a daughter after that dog, and none of us questioned it.

Also not everything is "dementia." A bad speaker getting worse and only being able to work like 6 hours a day isn't necessarily dementia. It's being old as hell and losing a step, which is maybe reason enough to dump him, but it's not necessarily dementia. Dementia is fucking brutal and specific.

I built in more routines, more things I could do without thinking, and wrote things down. I got better. And yes, I was blanking on friends’ names. I blanked on my own name. There are many causes for memory issues, and lots are normal and not a sign of cognitive decline.

I did. I was in my mid 30s, with severe depression and dealing with chronic migraines. I did the long form test, it took hours. Not only was I not cognitively impaired, I still tested as highly intelligent. My memory problems, which were bad, were put down to depression or meds side effects.

Omg baby! I love spaniels. My aunt’s family had a liver and white springer who had puppies when I was maybe two, and there’s a Polaroid of baby me in a pile of puppies, in total bliss. I think they imprinted on me. We had a black and white springer when I was a kid. I’d love a Cavalier one day.
