It’s real fun being on a medication for the rest of my life that’s also an abortifacient. I’ve heard of more than a few cases where doctors are refusing to prescribe it to women in stricter states “just in case”. It’s used to prevent autoimmune diseases from progressing & is the cheapest option.

Oh my god, this is fucking huge. It was huge when we developed a daily PrEP pill that could prevent you from catching HIV; this is a successful phase III trial of a PrEP shot that will only need to be given *twice a year*. Still needs a confirmatory Phase III, but holy fuck.
