July 4 story: This book is one of 50 snuck out of Philadelphia and hidden in the countryside west of Philadelphia as the British approached. It contains one of the first official printings (1777) of the Declaration of Independence. It looks different than you might expect. šŸ§µ

The one thing I can do is keep the non profit he and I started, alittleextrafund.org going. Our clinic has become the drop off for animals found (domestic, feral and wild) hurt/lost/whatev. He'd never turn anyone away bc they couldn't pay.

My #UglyDogs, Callie needs our help! She is a one year old spayed female with a really bad history of being abused who has now been attacked by the established other dog in her current home so she's being returned ... but the rescue has no room.

January 6th, 2025 eclipses November 5th, 2024. Before that, state fights over election certifications. Getting all of the certifications to Congress for an official count might be battle by battle. The Capitol could be Thunderdome on January 6th, again.

March 23 1933, the Enabling Act becomes law in Germany, giving the chief executive power enforce his own laws without checks and balances. The passing of the Act marked the formal transition from democratic republic to totalitarian dictatorship. 6 months later, it was a 1 party state.

Seems like we would have been better off keeping our original monarchy instead of taking all this time to create another monarchy.
