voting for president is not just voting for one person. it's voting for an entire staff and administrative apparatus that the president oversees who actually enact a policy agenda, and those people and policies are more important than a politician's personality or media performance.

the way people feel about media failing to call Trump's racism by name is also the way I feel about people (media or otherwise) refusing to call eugenics out by name. eugenics is not a thing of the past! many widely-held beliefs today either have roots in or are compatible with eugenics.
