I’m 90% sure I’m already on it, but following my usual pattern since the old message boards of Prodigy, reading and lurking more than posting. Now that I’ve got some stuff I’ve been busy with over the weekend done (like reading the lore book for a brand new game coming out) I can do other things now

I’m sadly far too used to that ebb and flow on forums over the years. I’ve been using Discord more and I’ll have to try and remember to use that more a lot of groups I’m part of have been moving there the last few years.

I had been about to join them (and it would have been because of Meta-Tech). I’ve been lurking on the various forms they have taken throughout the years since I first discovered GURPS way back in the 90s (has it been that long?). I just kept getting distracted and never getting around to it.

The thing about the GOP plan to do mass deportations of “illegal immigrants” is that this country has done it twice before and both time we deported American citizens of latin descent because that’s the entire point.

Here’s the first during the Great Depression…

The official 2024 GOP platform makes a reference to "Christian-hating Communists" who the Republicans will keep from entering the country. Back in the early days of the America First movement, "Christian-hating Communists" would have just been a longer way of saying "Jews."

If you steal $1000, you can be sent to prison. When health insurance companies steal $50,000,000,000, they get tax breaks, subsidies and government contracts, while the people they steal from die or go into debt. But keep blaming immigrants and poor people for rising crime.

-Abortion
-Pornography
-Overtime pay
-Social Security
-Veterans' disability benefits
-19th Amendment (women voting)

If that doesn't hit every demographic, IDK what would.
