there's the larger question about why "a couple anonymous donors speaking on background says something bad about the candidate" is considered to be newsworthy enough to peg a front-page, push-notification-generating story to. Could easily do the same to Trump!

~ REBELLION ~ SCOTUS now enables President Biden to direct USDOJ to charge, arrest & imprison Justices Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh & Barrett & Heritage Foundation's Roberts (Project 2025) & Trump for REBELLION. They should remain in prison without bond during their trials & appeals.

The debate was bad but he’s done lots of public events since then and been basically fine. Old, but basically fine. But at this point it’s insane claims like “he can’t campaign” or “he can’t finish a sentence” he has to rebut, media-driven claims with no basis in reality.

THE sentence of the day: A Macronist incumbent in the Marseille region came in 3rd in her seat. She just dropped out to support the left. She said, about why she's maneuvering to block the far-right: "Defeats happen, but you can never recover from dishonor."

Biden has been the most successful progressive president in half a century and the current “progressive” line is that he should immediately resign in disgrace at the insistence of the New York Times. Can you not see how this is an insane hysteria? How social media has completely broken you

The discourse around biden needing more sleep is fully insane. Does no one remember "Executive Time," the thing Trump spent the majority(!) of his schedule on where he would just watch TV and tweet? Dude was categorically unable to fulfill any of the demands of the office and the press barely cared

Now everyone--The Times and, sorry to say, MSNBC--is noting every missed syllable. The man has a stutter. I don't stutter but I am a mushmouth who speaks too fast and slurs words. I've had to overcome fear of public speaking. I have empathy for Biden. The press has empathy for no one (but Trump).

Yeah, that would definitely be the next question. I think the case he would have to make is he is capable of doing the job, but doesn't have the energy to be President and run a full-throated reelection campaign with so much at stake.

Google’s emissions are up 48% in 5 years. Microsoft’s are up 30% since 2020. Those soaring figures are being driven by mass investments in data centers to power AI tools. Generative AI is a climate disaster and data center expansion must be stopped.

Robinson is hardly the only Republican using language like this. At this point it's pretty close to the official position of the party to call for their political opponents to be arrested, jailed, subject to military tribunal, beaten up, or killed. They're not being subtle about it.

There are a handful of excellent writers, and it pains me to not be able to support their work. But, the low quality news coverage and op-ed content is something I can no longer defend spending my money on.

History will recall that the New York Times, that bastion of "the liberal media," on July 4, 2024 chose to give prime space on their op-ed page to a theocratic absolutist who argued that people shouldn't vote, even though he himself has voted in the last 2 elections (but nowhere is that mentioned).

Win back the House, maintain control of the Presidency and the Senate (ideally expanding the majority), nuke the filibuster and pass Supreme Court reform that includes appointing a new majority of unapologetically activist Judges who can undue the corrupt agenda of the Roberts Court.

It'd be easier to win back the House, maintain control of the Senate and the Executive, then pass a bill to expand the size of the Supreme Court & appoint all unapologetically activist Judges to undue all FedSoc damage, since precedent doesn't matter anymore anyway. Not easy, mind you, but easier.
