Oh no, the fantasy tweets from the Elon Musk–Ben Shapiro visit include Community Notes heroically debunking @AuschwitzCampOfficial's claims that the Jews are actually having a great time. Also annoying arguments with Holocaust deniers—that's X all right! www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmlS...
Hitler would demand the identities of the posters or block Twitter from Germany. Musk would give them to him. We've already seen that exact dynamic with Musk.
OMFG. Aside from the ahistorical garbage, including that tweets from 1943/44 would not have prevented shit, any actually useful info in your timeline would be buried under 150 tweets from $8/mo verified accounts with names like verminhunterSS posting about taking Germany back from the Jew thieves.
If Twitter existed during the Holocaust, Musk would be sharing Goebbels tweets and saying "this is the actual truth" and then ban people who called the NSDAP "Nazis" because it's a slur.
I am aghast reading these. Likely a group of people worked on these, planned which “type” of tweet they wanted to demo, and then sat down and brainstormed these (That suggests worse ideas exist that were discarded!). But eventually a plurality of them nodded and said “That’s the stuff. Ship it.”
Fantasy of a person who would have gotten rich off the backs of anyone who might have needed aid or protection but after the war came out to have “supported the resistance”. He’d have been a collaborator who best case scenario would have pulled a Schindler: “not my cheap labor!”
“The problem is that every single part of your plan on its own is the worst plan I’ve ever heard, and together they form a bullshit Voltron worthy of its own wing in the International Shitshow Museum.”
